We don’t know what we don’t know. At the end of October of 2020 when our family was trying to cope with the emotional devastation of Morgan’s murder, we had no idea how dangerous going to work can actually be. 600 workplace murders happen every year in the United States. For the first time in more than 2 decades, the FBI reported that homicides had increased by 30% in 2019 and 2020; we surmise due to the stress of lockdowns and stay-at-home orders.

That’s just murders. It doesn’t take into account the amount of harassment, bullying, and sexual harassment that occurs. When those events are not adequately dealt with, tragic events can happen. That’s why we’re here, to reach out and offer support and impactful information because not one more family should have to endure this kind of heartache and anguish.
